Gregory Bautista is a partner at Mullen Coughlin LLC, based in the firm's Stamford, Connecticut office, and is an experienced cybersecurity attorney and civil litigator. His practice covers incident response, pre-breach advisory work including incident response planning and tabletop exercises, data privacy litigation, and regulatory inquiries from bodies including the Federal Trade Commission, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Education, the New York Department of Financial Services, state attorneys general and insurance commissioners. Before joining Mullen Coughlin he chaired his former firm's cybersecurity and data privacy practice. He holds a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Quinnipiac University and a B.A. from Colgate University, is admitted in Connecticut and New York, and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). At Legal Cyber Academy he teaches on phishing risk for lawyers.
