Who are the courses for?
- Lawyers and litigators, general counsel and compliance teams, boards and executives, security and technology leaders, and insurance and risk professionals — anyone who needs to get smart where law meets technology, from cybersecurity and privacy to eDiscovery, blockchain, and fintech.
Do I need a subscription?
- No. You can buy individual courses, or choose the all-access subscription for the full library. A free account also unlocks 16 free courses (browse them at /courses?price=free).
Are the courses on-demand?
- Yes. Every course is pre-recorded and available on demand, so you can learn at your own pace.
Can I get a refund?
- Yes. If a course isn't what you needed, email info@lawandforensics.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund it in full — no questions asked. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
How do I cancel my subscription?
- From your account page, which opens our payment provider's billing portal — you can cancel, change your card, or download invoices there without emailing anyone. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Single-course purchases are one-off and have nothing to cancel; they are covered by the 14-day refund instead.
Do you offer group or firm licensing?
- Yes. Group and firm licensing covers law firms, in-house legal departments and risk teams, with volume terms, centralised billing, and a certificate for every participant. Seat pricing and an enquiry form are on the group licensing page. See group & firm licensing →
Do I get a certificate?
- Yes. Pass the end-of-course assessment (70% or higher) and affirm you completed the course, and you receive a verifiable Certificate of Completion with a unique verification code. The certificate states the delivery format, measured instructional time, and equivalent credit hours. You can add it to your LinkedIn profile or email signature in one click.
Do courses qualify for CLE or continuing-education credit?
- Legal Cyber Academy is not an accredited continuing-education provider, and its courses are not pre-approved for CLE, CE, CME, or CPE credit. Each course provides a graded assessment, a verifiable Certificate of Completion, and a Continuing Education Information Sheet documenting instructional time, learning objectives, faculty, and a timed agenda — the records most licensing bodies require when a learner applies for self-submitted or self-study credit. Whether credit is granted, and how much, is determined solely by your licensing board. Confirm your board's rules before claiming credit.
How do I submit a course for CLE, CE, CPE, or CME credit?
- Each course has a Continuing Education Information Sheet (linked from the course and the exam page) documenting the provider, delivery method, learning objectives, faculty, a timed agenda, and instructional time — the records boards ask for when you self-submit. Attach it with your Certificate of Completion to your board's self-application. CME is limited to AMA PRA Category 2 (self-claimed); we are not ACCME-accredited, so courses are not eligible for Category 1.
