Kenneth N. Rashbaum is Senior Counsel at Barton LLP in New York, advising on cybersecurity and data privacy, GDPR compliance, artificial intelligence, e-discovery and electronic evidence, information governance, and healthcare privacy under HIPAA. He was previously a senior litigation partner at Sedgwick LLP, where he was founding co-chair of the E-Discovery, Compliance and Data Management and HIPAA practice groups. In 2019 he served as a special consultant to the New Jersey Assembly on a bill that would have become the state's first comprehensive privacy and cybersecurity law. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law, teaching technology law, and was on the adjunct faculty at Hofstra University's Maurice A. Deane School of Law from 2013 to 2015. He has authored or co-authored dozens of articles, including for Bloomberg Law and the New York Law Journal.
