About

Michael Marchman is an attorney working in cybersecurity at USAA. He previously served as an assistant professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he taught constitutional law and cyber law and was a faculty advisor to the men's basketball team. Earlier in his Army career he was a prosecutor at Fort Gordon, and he has since transitioned to the Army Reserve. He described that path, from military prosecutor to in-house cybersecurity lawyer, on the Military Veterans In Law podcast in July 2025. At Legal Cyber Academy, Michael Marchman teaches on the law of cyberwar.
