Mediator and Arbitrator, JAMS (Hon., Ret.)
Hon. Moshe Jacobius (Ret.) is a mediator and arbitrator at JAMS, based in its Chicago office, handling administrative law, business and commercial, civil rights, class action, employment, family law, insurance and real property disputes. He served on the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois from 1991 to 2022, including ten years as Presiding Judge of the Domestic Relations Division (2000-2010) and Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division from 2010 until his retirement. Before the bench he spent 1975 to 1991 in the Illinois Attorney General's office, as an Assistant Attorney General, Chief of the Industrial Commission, Chief of the General Law Division and Counsel to the Attorney General. He holds a J.D., cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law. At Legal Cyber Academy he teaches on data breach mediation.
