Overview

This two-part seminar addresses the growing legal and regulatory expectations placed on boards of directors and senior executives in the areas of cybersecurity governance and data privacy. Participants will explore fiduciary duties as they relate to cyber risk, the SEC's disclosure and oversight requirements, and practical frameworks for assessing and managing cyber risk at the enterprise level. The course examines the specific questions boards should be asking of management and outside advisors, and the action points that demonstrate meaningful governance engagement. It is designed to help leadership teams align their oversight practices with current regulatory standards and reduce institutional exposure.

   In part 1 of this webinar, our expert panelists define the core elements of cyber risk landscapes, data breaches, and cyber threats and how they are assessed.
