Daniel J. Nichols is a litigator and trial lawyer at JurisLaw LLP, where he leads the firm's eDiscovery practice. He serves as discovery counsel in class actions brought by consumers, including customers of large corporations and victims of Ponzi schemes, alongside a mold injury and class action litigation practice, and is a former partner of the eDiscovery firm Redgrave LLP. He has taught civil discovery at Lewis & Clark Law School for nine years, previously chaired Oregon's Uniform Civil Jury Instruction committee, and serves on the Oregon Advisory Committee on Civil Justice. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. At Legal Cyber Academy he teaches on artificial intelligence in eDiscovery and on mediating to reduce e-discovery costs.
