Sarah Zabel is a neutral with Maze Resolutions PA in Miami-Dade County, Florida, serving as a mediator, arbitrator, special magistrate and private judge. She sat as a circuit court judge in Miami-Dade County from January 2003 to 2018, hearing civil, family, juvenile and criminal matters and serving on the Eleventh Judicial Circuit's appellate panel; in Pareto v. Ruvin she held Florida's same-sex marriage ban unconstitutional on 25 July 2014. Before the bench she was an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade from 1993 to 2000 and then practiced civil litigation, employment law and family law. She is a certified circuit court civil mediator, a certified circuit court family mediator and a certified collaborative family law practitioner, and holds a J.D. from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for arbitration and mediation. At Legal Cyber Academy, Sarah Zabel teaches on ten cybersecurity practices counsel should adopt.
