What it is
Brett Shavers' DFIR portal: a calendar of training events worldwide, a tool directory, a resource library, a book index and a blog on the state of the field. Some listings and downloads are open, others sit behind registration or a paid membership.
Who it is for, and when
The training calendar is the most complete single view of who is teaching what and when, across vendors and independents, which is hard to assemble otherwise. The blog is opinionated commentary on careers, certification value and how the field is changing rather than artifact research. Actively maintained — events listed for September 2026 and a blog post dated 20 August 2026.
What it does not cover
It aggregates and comments rather than teaching technique, and course listings reflect what providers submit, so absence from the calendar means nothing.
