He serves as a neutral, arbitrator, and forensic special master at JAMS, focusing on cybersecurity, cryptocurrency, and complex technology disputes, and holds faculty appointments at Harvard and Rutgers Law School. A patented software inventor and prolific author, he is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law & Cyber Warfare and a widely cited authority on computer forensics, eDiscovery, and cyber litigation.

Judith Selby

Judith A. Selby is a partner at TittmannWeix, where her practice covers cyber, privacy and technology; first- and third-party cyber insurance coverage; regulatory claims insurance coverage litigation; and policy wording. She draws on more than 30 years in insurance coverage. She was named Zywave Cyber Risk Attorney of the Year in 2023 and a National Law Review Insurance Law Trailblazer in 2021, and served on the Zywave Cyber Risks Advisory Board in 2024. She holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and is admitted in New York and Washington, D.C. At Legal Cyber Academy, Judith Selby teaches on cyber insurance and third-party cyber risk mitigation.

She holds a J.D. and an LL.M. in taxation from Villanova University School of Law and a B.S. from Georgetown University, and clerked in the Superior Court of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is vice-chair of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy General Committee of the American Bar Association's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. Michael Phillips is Head of Global Cyber Portfolio Underwriting at Coalition, where he oversees the company's global underwriting strategy, product development and portfolio performance. He was previously Cyber Practice Leader for the USA at CFC, and before that Chief Claims Officer at Resilience, Head of Cyber, Media and Technology Claims for the North American market at Allianz Global and Tech Counsel at Beazley, following eight years as a commercial litigator in private practice. He is Co-Chair of the Ransomware Task Force convened by the Institute for Security and Technology. He holds a B.A. with honors in politics from New York University, an M.A. with distinction in international relations from King's College London and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law. At Legal Cyber Academy he teaches on cyber insurance for attorneys and their clients.
