About

Ben Colman is co-founder and chief executive officer of Reality Defender, a deepfake detection company. He has scaled multiple companies at the intersection of cybersecurity and data science over 15 years. Before founding Reality Defender he led cybersecurity commercialization at Goldman Sachs and worked with the partnerships team at Google. On April 16, 2024 he spoke before the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology, and the Law at its hearing "Oversight of AI: Election Deepfakes." He holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a bachelor's degree from Claremont McKenna College. At Legal Cyber Academy, Ben Colman teaches on the impact of AI on the practice of law.
