About

Judge David Harvey (Ret.) is a barrister and a member of Sangro Chambers in Auckland, New Zealand, who served as a District Court Judge for 32 years. An award-winning academic on law and information-and-communications-technology matters, he authored the leading New Zealand texts internet.law.nz and Collisions in the Digital Paradigm, and has presented widely on how technology can improve court and judicial processes and access to justice. He speaks on artificial intelligence in the legal profession, including its practical applications and the ethical and legal considerations of its adoption.
