About

Hon. Peggy A. Leen (Ret.) is a mediator, arbitrator, referee/special master, neutral evaluator, and hearing officer with JAMS. She previously served more than 18 years as a United States Magistrate Judge in the District of Nevada, where she conducted more than 900 settlement conferences and early neutral evaluations and, before the bench, litigated complex multi-party civil and criminal cases as a trial lawyer for over 20 years. She is known as an effective, thoroughly prepared settlement judge who is evaluative, candid, and focused on realistic resolutions, and she speaks on using mediation to reduce e-discovery costs.
