Disclosure

This is one of our own courses, and we are paid when someone buys it. It is listed here on the same terms as everything else in this directory — with its real limitations stated below — because a directory that hid its publisher’s own offerings among neutral recommendations would not be worth reading. Several entries on this page cost less than ours, and some cost nothing.

Strengths

  • Sensible for a team: one subscription covers forensics alongside privacy, e-discovery and securities work, which is how a real practice's questions arrive.
  • Verifiable certificates on the courses that carry an exam, which is more than a completion badge.
  • 16 free courses mean you can evaluate the teaching thoroughly before paying anything.
  • Cancellable monthly, so the commitment is small.

Limitations

  • Subscription access ends when you stop paying. If you want one specific course permanently, buying it outright at $19.99 and up is the cheaper answer and we would rather you did that.
  • The library is broad rather than forensics-deep — digital forensics is one of several subject areas, not the focus of the catalogue.
  • No accreditation, no hands-on labs, no graded practical work and no guaranteed CLE credit.
  • At $588 a year it is not a trivial spend for a solo practitioner who only ever needed two courses.
