- Six on-demand video courses taken in order, with a certificate on completion and verifiable certificates on the courses that carry an exam.

- Self-paced; each course is a short sitting rather than a multi-day commitment.
- Renewal
- No renewal or recertification requirement is published for this entry.
- Accreditation
- None, and we do not claim any. Legal Cyber Academy is not an accredited continuing-education provider, and no course here is pre-approved for CLE credit in any jurisdiction.
- Who it suits
- A litigator, in-house counsel or judge who has to evaluate digital forensic evidence and needs to understand it, not produce it.

Strengths
- Aimed squarely at the lawyer's actual problem — deposing an examiner, arguing authentication, reading a forensic report — which no technical certification teaches.
- Ordered as a sequence, so there is a defined start and finish rather than a catalogue to guess at.
- Cheap enough to be a rounding error against any technical training in this directory, and priced per course with lifetime access.
- No prerequisites and no technical background assumed.
Limitations
- It will not make you a practising forensic examiner. There is no hands-on imaging, no tool work and no graded practical, and nothing here substitutes for GCFE, CFCE or CCE.
- We are not an accredited CE provider. Any CLE credit would depend on self-submission to your own state board, and we cannot promise it will be granted.
- Video-only. There is no cohort, no instructor contact and no feedback on your work.
- If your goal is to DO forensics rather than to litigate around it, several free options in this directory — the SWGDE competencies, NIST CFReDS, Eric Zimmerman's tools — will take you further than we will.
